Primary 1 registration for international students


International students can indicate their interest tentatively in early June 2020. This indication of interest is not considered a registration. Join our mailing list to receive an alert when registration details are available.

1. Overview

Primary 1 (P1) registration for international students is a process to register non-Singapore Citizen and non-Permanent Resident children for mainstream primary schools in the following year.

Check when your child is eligible for P1 registration

You can register your child in the 2020 P1 Registration Exercise if your child is born between 2 January 2014 and 1 January 2015 (both dates inclusive).

Indicate your interest

To register your child for primary school, you will first need to indicate your interest by filling up an online form. You will also need to prepare and upload a few documents as part of this submission.

Receive offer letter

You will be notified through postal mail on whether your child has been offered a place in a designated primary school.

By end Oct

Register at the designated school

If you receive the offer letter, you will need to register your child at the designated school on the stated date with all required original documents.
